I have been going to Danny Wok off and on since 1993 when their wings cost about $.40/per wing. They are $1+ per wing now. This Thursday turned from not having my lunch day to my Treat Thursday! This was a normal setup for this kind of store, but nothing inviting about it. The sketchy people that hang outside begging for money when you come in and out of the store made me uncomfortable. However, when I am in the area, I make sure to get there wings. They weren't crowded like in times past. I was in and out the restaurant in less than 5 minutes. The young guy behind the counter was professional when he greeted and asked me if can help me, took my order and money. He even said thank you. In the past, it was a hit or miss on whether they would say thank you. They are so consistent with having those hot wings ready to pick up. They are crispy and not over cooked. Yes, the taste is equally yumful.

Maaannnnn, I love some Danny's Wok! Once again, anyone that knows me knows I have a category for food called "Aight". Meaning I don't expect it to taste 5 star and have fancy decor in the first place. I don't always want beer battered grass-fed chicken hand dipped in lemon lavender glaze, then sprinkled with saffron. NO!

Sometimes on a rainy / snowy day like its been lately I just want that chicken slapped around in some flour and fried it hard. That's it!
Their wings ARE THE BEST (currently lol)
Why? Because they are consistently crispy and the size of the wings are bigger than any other local place. More importantly, Danny's Wok is fast no matter how many customers there are.

It's fine sometimes that your food is just "ok" and the decor is just "ok", because sometimes there's greatness in being ok, okay? lol

P.S. Don't park directly in front of Danny's Wok or more than likely ppl will temporarily block you in from behind trying to pick up their orders lol

An oldie but somewhat of an goodie.
Danny Wok is definitely nostalgic to me. In the early 2000's this place was the spot and everbody and they momma frequent Danny Wok's for their amazing crispy and crunchy like no other fried chicken.

Yep people would buy their chicken by the pans. My aunt, dad and friends looved us some Danny Wok's. It definitely was a hood charm. Then it got renovated and womp womp it lost the charm. Thankful for the upgrade but now their infamous fried chicken is not the same anymore, it doesn't stand out from the crowd. It just taste like standard chicken from the Chinese store. I also ordered their shrimp lo mien and that was eh okay.

Overall sevice is still rude AF. The staff continues to have the same bad attitude while the community seems to continue to support their establishment.

I Like Their Food But This One Lady That Takes The Orders Is Soooo Damnnnn Rude. I Understand You Work In The Ghetto So Maybe You Feel Like You Have The Right To Be Rude. But You Do Not.. Especially When You Have Customers Traveling 45 Minutes To Get Food From Your Questionable Hygienic Place.
